INTERNATIONAL FAMILY SYMPOSIUM

ANNOUNCEMENT FOR FULL PAPER SUBMISSION AND PUBLICATION PROCESS

We would like to thank all researchers who contributed to the Dokuz Eylül University International Family Symposium, held on April 10–11, 2026, under the theme “Strong Family, Strong Future.” In order to ensure that the scientific contributions presented at the symposium reach a wider audience and are transformed into lasting academic works, the full paper submission process has now commenced. Accordingly, submitted papers will be evaluated either for a special issue of a journal or for inclusion in an edited volume.

Publication Options

There are two publication options available for oral and poster presentations delivered at the symposium:

Journal of the Faculty of Letters (DEU) – “Family” Special Issue

Researchers may submit the full texts of their studies to be evaluated for publication in the “Family” special issue of the Journal of the Faculty of Letters of Dokuz Eylül University, which is indexed in TR Dizin.

Submissions within this scope will:

• Be subject to editorial evaluation,
• Undergo a double-blind peer review process,
• Be published in the special issue to be released in December 2026, provided they successfully pass the review process.

Along with your manuscript written using the “Template,” you are also required to upload the “Title Page and Declaration Form” and the “Copyright Form” to the system via Dergipark.

Submissions that do not comply with the template and author guidelines will not be considered for evaluation.

Important Dates for Manuscript Submission:

The submission system for the “Special Issue on Family” of the Dokuz Eylül University Journal of Faculty of Letters is open from July 20, 2026, to August 2, 2026.

Authors must ensure they select the “I would like to submit my manuscript to the special issue” option on the submission page.

Edited Volume

Researchers may also submit their full papers for publication in an edited volume.

These submissions will:

• Undergo editorial evaluation and peer review,
• Be published, if accepted, as an online edited volume by Dokuz Eylül University Press in December 2026.
